Well since my last post which was almost 3 months ago a lot has changed..... We celebrated New Years how we always do....sleep right through it!!! We enjoyed our Valentines day as a family. I made sandwiches again for Ava out of hearts and lips. I also did cookies that turned out right this time! Then I got a promotion!!!! I am now the Business Office Manager at the building I have been working for. So I am now a department head!!!! I have been waiting for that. I also have bad news and that is I am getting a divorce. We both agree that we just need to be friends and work through things. So please pray for us because this is very hard especially for Ava. She kinda understands what is going on but not completely. She is very smart!!!

I also had foot surgery today to repair a bunion and ligaments in my right foot. I am doing well with the pain but its difficult to walk. It will get better in a few days I just have to be patient. I will keep everyone up to date no what is going on with us and where we end up at. Just keep praying for us!!!

I know this is never an accurate post. I am so bad at this stuff. Anyhow....I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry CHRISTmas and a happy new year. I have been so busy with work that I haven't gotten around to shopping so I have to finish on CHRISTmas eve. Ava is so ready for CHRISTmas that she sleeps by the tree every night in hopes for Santa. We have started to tell her that CHRISTmas isn't about SANTA but about baby Jesus. So now when we leave the house she says bye to baby Jesus. She also has to kiss him every night goodnight. Phillip is trying to still figure out what I got him for CHRISTmas and it is so fun having him guess. He thinks I bought him a 10lb weight and stuck it in a box and wrapped it. I really bought him an XBOX 360, he has been wanting one for a while now. We have been freezing here in Texas. Today it was only 34 as the high the other day it was only 30. Sowe have been trying to stay warm and not sick. Here is a picture from a couple of days ago right before she went to bed.

These were taken around Halloween... She is getting taller, she is now at my waist line. She had a great time at Halloween and loves it now that Daddy is back. We are looking forward to Thanksgiving and spending time with family. We are going camping so I will post pictures of that when we get back. I am thankful for all my friends and family! Have a GREAT THANKSGIVING!!!

 I know I am horrible at this thing. Since the last update which was 2 months ago, we have been doing pretty much the same things. Our most exciting news has been Ava turned 2 on the 12th and we got a puppy. Ava really enjoyed her birthday. We celebrated it with family and friends. She had an Elmo party and we actually had more people than I expected. Her best friend was at her party and they were too cute. Here  is what little Miss Ava looked like the day she was born and the day she turned 2. She has grown up. The next thing I know she will be getting married and having kids of her own!!!!

Ava 13 hours after she turned 2. She was born at 5:53AM on the 12th.

We also got us a new puppy. I got her from a lady at my work who was getting ready to take her to the pound. She is a black lab and is 3 months old. She has white tips on her paws and on the tip of her tail. She is a joy to have at our house and Ava loves her too. Her name is Izzy short for Isabella. I will have to post some pictures of her once she sits still long enough to take her picture. Hope everyone is doing well and talk to everyone later.
